Our Founders
As two Sikh American girls into a changing world, Ishnoor Kaur and Tasbih Kaur are helping to uplift our community into creating a better world for our future.
Ishnoor Kaur
Ishnoor is a currently a Junior at Sidwell Friends High School and very passionate in Public Policy, Interfaith Equity and Technology. She is firmly believes and values of community service and community engagement. She is an accomplished student with several accolades, honors in State and National forms like Broadcomm Science Fair, NCWIT, IEEE Robotics, Model UN, and Public Policy Debate. Along with these accolades, she has published many of her scinetific papers and works on various platforms/articles. She is chair of interfaith and community Service community in her school and also lead for Technology Club. Outside of school, she is Captain of her nationally ranked Junior Varsity Tennis Team.
Tasbih Kaur
Tasbih is currently a rising 9th grader at Sidwell Friends High School and is very passionate about pressing social justice, interfaith, environmental and healthcare projects. She is very passionate about community service and outreach between different cultures and cuisines. As a fellow competitive figure skater and enthusiastic poetry writer, she competes in various competitions for debate, stem related projects, boy scouts of america, python, and more!
